A gorgeous naturally colored fiber from black sheep, this yarn wears as dark chocolatety brown with some tiny hints of silver. It was spun at Battenkill Fibers in Greenwich, NY. This color is all natural off-the-sheep, and our fleeces are coated to preserve rich tones and fiber quality. Its smooth, semi-worsted construction makes stitches pop with great definition, and it is more abrasion resistant. (My own “Galaxy” sweater holds up wonderfully to farm chores and all manner of shepherd shenanigans!)
